Goodbye, Old Friend

So my dad's '68 Chevy is gone. The barn it was being stored in while he is in Afghanistan burned down. There is no way it can be salvaged... I feel so bad for my dad. He's had this truck for years, put so much time and effort and love into it. He had it rebuilt, custom painted, totally done up. He took it to car shows all the time. He was so proud of his truck... I know it's just a truck, but it really wasn't. That thing was practically a family member and I know my dad is devastated. So many bad things have happened to him this year and it just keeps piling up.

This is the same truck seen in the last series of photos I did with Alexis... The one she was on/in. :(

I know! I love how it took a perspective on Derek. They should do that often! You know, to get to know the characters more. I think they should do one of Alex. It feels I don't know him that well. :hmm:

Hello Kate! I want to ask you if you can help me with my idea of the Joy Williams cover art. :)

I have an idea for a good start, I will draw some chick in black because she's at a funeral and she is putting flowers down in someone's grave and while she is setting it down, he body langauge is pushing her hair back when she was putting it down because it got on her face, and y'know the girl with the Sleepless pic you favved? It will be that girl and I dunno, there is one thing on her face that I made really distinctive. I made it subtle, but, on her frown, it's not just any frown, I mean, I was going for a frown of deprivation. Like, her face looks like she's about to choke on tears, almost. What I will also include in the drawing is alot of light because the song made me think of ethereal as I've before told you.

So, good start? Any ideas? :)
